The only thing she lacked were her scented oils and her maid to help rinse her long hair-and the confidence that she wouldn’t be disturbed.īut the tub was long enough to submerge completely, hair and all. Hers conformed more to her size, but having the extra room was nice, really nice. It was heavenly, almost as good as her own tub at home. As for as it being explicit, I thought it could be, depending on a person's opinion and how much they could handle.Georgina’s anger dissolved in the warm water the very moment she lay back in the long tub. I felt my cheeks heat up, and I don't think I have ever done that in a romance novel, but that could just be me.

I thought that the love scenes were so passionate, as to why I put three flames for the heat level. The storyline was pretty interesting, but it's more of a comedy/romance novel for those who like "laugh-out-loud" books. It seriously makes me want to read Lindsey's other Malory books. They are seriously overprotective in their own unique way, and I cannot stop smiling whenever they appear in the book. I love Georgina's and James's arguments, and I for sure love her brothers.

It's hard to say since this is my first one, but I seriously cannot remember any book that has EVER made me laugh so many times. Unfortunately, James has sworn that he will never marry any woman he meets, but as he gets to know "George" day after day, his desire grows stronger and he might just take back his words.ĭxKx's Review: I'm pretty sure that this Malory book might be my favorite. He "plays" along with her charade, and forces her to do as he pleases. As part of a proud and tempestuous family, James sees through her masquerade and is amused by her personality. Little does she know that the captain of the ship is no gentlemen, and that he is an ex-pirate and an irrepressible rake named James Malory. They seek passage on a "gentlemen's ship", Maiden Anne, and Georgina, or rather George disguises herself as a cabin boy.

Heartsick and desperate, she immediately wants to leave England's shores with her companion, Mac. Summary: Twenty-two year old Georgina Anderson gets her heart broken after finding her long lost fiancé married to someone else in England.
